PER-211- MEDICAL MANAGEMENT FOR CBRNE EVENTS When: December 7-9, 2011 Where: Emergency Services Training Institute 1595 Nuclear Science Rd, Buiding 95 Room 129/130 & SimLab College Station, TX 77843 Cost: Free Prerequisites: Participants must work in one of the following disciplines/services: EMS technicians/paramedics; Public health (PH); Physicians/physician assistants; Hospital/medical treatment facility personnel; Private sector (if invited by the host jurisdiction); Law enforcement; County, state, and federal personnel who will respond with a local jurisdiciton during a WMD/terrorism incident. | Available Training Opportunities These courses are available free of charge to all HOTRAC members in good standing. Contact HOTRAC to schedule a course at your location or ours.
Emergency Preparedness and Response Course Course participants will learn proper donning and doffing techniques for personal protective equipment, as well as general information about contaminants. The course is also available for non-members for a fee (amount depends on course location).
AutoVent Training This course instructs participants on the use of AutoVent ventilators.
12-Lead Course This course teaches EMS personnel how to administer a 12-lead EKG. For those agencies using 3-lead machines, a modified chest lead course is also available.
